Tanzim is a civil and commercial litigator who approaches complex disputes with creativity and precision. He develops strategic, tailored solutions that uncover new pathways to strengthen his clients’ positions.

Tanzim maintains a broad litigation practice, with a particular focus on public law, corporate governance disputes, and class actions. He holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and an M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business.

During his time in law school, Tanzim received multiple awards for his coursework, oral advocacy, and contributions to the South Asian Bar Association. He also spearheaded several initiatives, founding the Osgoode Society of Civil Litigation, revitalizing the Baby Jessup International Law Moot, and volunteering for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association during the Emergencies Act inquiry.

Prior to joining the firm, Tanzim completed both his summer and articling terms at a leading civil litigation firm in Toronto.

Outside of his practice, Tanzim regularly makes scholarly contributions on a wide range of topics, including Charter jurisprudence, the rules of evidence, and emerging trends in private law.
