Laurie is an associate with Lundy Levy Eski Baum, where she maintains a busy commercial litigation and professional liability practice. A forceful advocate and trusted advisor alike, Laurie prides herself in providing strategic advice to clients facing complex legal disputes.
Laurie has experience in both prosecuting and defending claims having articled and practiced at boutique civil litigation firms in Toronto, focusing on professional negligence, construction, directors and officers’ liability and class actions.
She has appeared before all levels of Ontario courts, including the Court of Appeal of Ontario, Superior Court of Justice, and Small Claims Court, as well as numerous administrative tribunals including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Landlord and Tenant Board.
While in law school at the University of Toronto, Laurie was heavily involved in the Faculty’s pro bono clinic, Downtown Legal Services, where she volunteered and worked for her entire tenure. She continues her pro-bono work as a regular contributor to the Pro Bono Ontario free legal advice hotline.
